Websites for trades and construction

Plumbers, electricians, roofers, joiners, builders and preservation specialists. Our websites for trades are built for one job above all: getting the phone ringing from people searching in the towns you cover.

20+ years

Building websites for North East tradespeople.

Built for calls

Phone number and quote button always a thumb away.

Real jobs, not stock

Galleries of your own work, not someone else's van.

Fixed prices

Agreed in writing before any work starts.

Why most trade websites do not bring in work

Most tradespeople we speak to get their work from word of mouth, and their website is not adding to it. These are the usual reasons. Good websites for trades fix every one of them.

The phone number is hard to find

Buried in the footer or missing on mobile. Someone with a burst pipe will not go looking for it.

Stock photos instead of real jobs

Customers can spot a stock image instantly. Photos of your own work build trust far faster.

One page trying to cover every town

Google rarely shows a single page for searches across twenty towns. Service area pages do that job.

Accreditations hidden away

Gas Safe, NAPIT, HETAS or TrustMark buried on an about page, when they are the reason people choose you.

How does your website look to a customer in a hurry?

Our free health check looks at your site on a phone, the way your customers see it.
You get the quick wins first, in plain English.

What websites for trades need

Every one of our websites for trades is built around how people actually choose a tradesperson.

Tap to call everywhere

A phone button on every page on mobile, and a quote form that takes a minute, not ten.

A page for each service

Boiler installs, rewires, roof repairs, damp proofing. One clear page each, so Google knows what you do.

Service area pages

Pages for the towns you cover, written properly rather than copied, so you show up beyond your postcode.

Your accreditations up front

The schemes and memberships that make customers feel safe, shown early on every page.

A gallery of real jobs

Before and after photos of your work, with captions saying where and what it was.

Reviews where they count

Your Google reviews pulled onto the site, next to the buttons people use to get in touch.

Trade websites we have built

Two recent builds for trades businesses, each designed to turn local searches into calls and quote requests.

A rebuilt website and local SEO for a North Shields damp proofing and property preservation specialist.
LC Electrical website, a trade website built by NE1

Getting found in the towns you cover

A good website is half the job. The other half is showing up when someone nearby searches for what you do.

  • Google Business Profile. The map listing that brings in most trade calls, set up properly and kept active. More on our Google Business Profile page. Google's own local ranking guidance explains what Google weighs up.
  • Reviews every week. A simple routine for asking every customer, so your reviews keep pace with competitors.
  • Area pages that rank. Pages for the towns that bring the best jobs, starting closest to your base.
  • Service pages that answer questions. Prices, timescales and what to expect, so customers call you rather than the next name.
  • Tracking real enquiries. Calls and quote requests measured, so you know what the website is bringing in.
  • Ads when you need work fast. Google Ads for quieter months, aimed only at the jobs and areas you want.

Websites for trades: your questions

How much does a website for a tradesman cost?

Brochure websites start at £2,397, or from £197 a month. The website and SEO plan starts at £397 a month. Every price is fixed and agreed in writing before we start.

I am too busy to write website content. Can you do it?

Yes. We work from a short call and your job photos, then write the pages for you to check. Most trades spend less than an hour on it in total.

Do I need a page for every town I cover?

Not every town, but the ones that bring your best work. A handful of well written area pages will outperform dozens of copied ones.

Can you add my accreditations and reviews?

Yes. Scheme logos, insurance details and your Google reviews are shown prominently, because they are often the reason a customer chooses you.

Will the website work on a phone?

It is built for phones first. Most of your customers will find you on a phone, often when something has gone wrong, so calling you has to take one tap.

Can you help me get more reviews?

Yes. We set up a simple link and a short message you can send after every job, which makes asking for reviews part of finishing the work.
