20+ years

Building websites, long before it was a side hustle.

Designed, built and launched across the North East.

Fixed prices

Agreed in writing before any work starts.

Common problems with your current website

Most people who ring us are not shopping for a website. They are trying to fix something that is costing them work.

The site looks dated

It was fine when it was built, but it no longer looks like a business people would hand money to. Customers compare you against three other sites before they call.

Nobody can find you

You are nowhere on Google for the services you actually make money from, and competitors with worse reviews sit above you in the results.

It falls apart on a phone

Most of your visitors are on a phone. If they have to pinch, zoom and hunt for your number, they go back to the search results instead.

The last designer vanished

You cannot get hold of anyone, you are not sure who owns the domain, and a small change takes three weeks and an invoice you did not expect.

What is included as standard

Every site we build includes all of this. None of it is charged as an extra, and none of it is left until later.

Mobile first design

Designed for the phone first and then scaled up, because that is where most of your visitors are. Tested across real devices before launch.

On page SEO

Titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, schema markup and image optimisation done properly from day one rather than retrofitted later.

Built for speed

Optimised images, lean code and quality hosting. Speed is a ranking factor and the first thing an impatient visitor judges you on.

SSL and security

HTTPS, security headers, login protection and malware monitoring, so your site does not become somebody else's problem to clean up.

Content guidance

Help with what each page should say, which calls to action belong where, and which photos earn their place. Writing is the part most people get stuck on.

Handover

The finished site handed over with everything in your name, and from there we look after it for you. The website should never become another job on your list.

What we build

From a single page that makes the phone ring to a full online shop. The right answer depends on how your customers actually buy from you.

Brochure websites

The most common build. Home, services, about, work and contact, written to answer the questions a customer asks before they ring you.

Booking websites

For clinics, studios and venues. Timetables, treatment pages and online booking that connects to the system you already use.

Online shops

WooCommerce and Shopify stores with a checkout built for mobile, plus migrations if you are moving from one platform to another.

Multi location sites

A page per town or service area, each one written properly rather than find and replaced, so they stand a chance of ranking.

B2B and industrial

Longer sales cycles, technical products and specification heavy content, organised so a buyer can find the detail they came for.

Website redesigns

A complete rebuild rather than a patch on top of an old site, with every existing page redirected to its new home so you keep the rankings you already have.

What we build on

The platform is chosen to suit the job rather than because it is the only one we know. All four are things we work in every week.

WordPress

The default for most business sites. Easy for you to update, enormous plugin ecosystem, and it will still be supported in ten years. Built properly rather than stacked with page builders that slow it to a crawl.

Hand coded HTML

For sites where speed is the whole point. No database, no plugins to update, nothing to hack, and page loads that leave WordPress builds standing. Ideal for landing pages and smaller brochure sites.

Shopify

For retail. Hosting, payments, security and apps all handled, so you sell rather than maintain. We are an official Shopify Partner and handle custom themes and migrations from other platforms.

WooCommerce

For shops that need to live inside a content heavy WordPress site, or that sell something awkward: courses, bookings, hire, variable pricing. More flexible than Shopify, slightly more to look after.

The process, start to finish

Four stages, so you always know what is happening, what you need to do next and what it costs.

1

Discovery and proposal

Thirty minutes on your business, your customers and what the site needs to do, then a written proposal with the page list, the timeline and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you have agreed all three.

2

Content and design

Design first, so you see how it will look before anything is built. Two structured rounds of revisions are included, and we guide the content rather than handing you a blank page.

3

Build and testing

Built on a private staging link you can check at any point, then tested across devices and browsers, with redirects mapped from the old site so nothing that already ranks gets lost.

4

Launch and support

Go live with Analytics and Search Console set up and everything handed over in your name, so you own the site outright. An optional care plan covers hosting, backups and updates from there.

What makes a website work

Six things we apply to every build, whatever the sector.

  • Clarity in five seconds. A visitor should know what you do, where you do it and what to do next before they scroll.
  • Trust before persuasion. Reviews, real photography, accreditations and a proper address do more than clever copy.
  • Phone first. Tap to call, short forms, thumb reachable buttons and no tiny text to pinch at.
  • Speed as a feature. Built to pass Core Web Vitals, because slow pages lose both rankings and customers.
  • Accessible by default. Proper contrast, keyboard navigation and sensible headings. It helps everyone, not just screen readers.
  • Search ready at launch. Structure, schema and internal linking in place on day one rather than bolted on in month six.

What changes by sector

The build process is the same. What the site has to prove, and who it has to beat in the search results, is not.

Trades and construction

The job is speed to contact. Tap to call everywhere, service area pages that actually rank, accreditations like Gas Safe and HETAS visible early, and a gallery of real jobs rather than stock photos of someone else's van.

Clinics, health and beauty

People research treatments for weeks before booking. That means proper treatment pages, honest pricing, practitioner credentials, aftercare detail and booking that works at eleven at night on a phone.

Hospitality and venues

Menus as text rather than a PDF nobody can read on a phone, opening hours that match your Google profile, real photography, and the booking button never more than a thumb away.

Professional services

Longer decisions and higher values. The site has to build credibility before the first meeting: clear service scope, the people behind it, case detail and the professional memberships that de-risk the choice.

Retail and e-commerce

Product content that earns search traffic, a checkout built for thumbs, delivery and returns answered before they are asked, and clean migration if you are moving platform without losing rankings.

Training and education

Course pages with dates, accreditation and who the course is for, plus booking or enquiry routes that suit both individuals and employers buying for a team.

A website on its own, or a website plus local SEO?

This is the question most first calls come down to, so here is the honest answer rather than the one that sells the bigger package.

A website on its own

Right if the work already comes to you. Referrals, repeat customers, a van with your number on it, a busy Google profile. You need somewhere credible to send people, and that is all. One fixed cost, live within 10 days.

A website plus local SEO

Right if you need Google to bring you work rather than just confirm you exist. The build makes you credible, the monthly SEO gets you in front of people searching for what you sell. This is where most trades and clinics end up.

If you are not sure which, say so on the call. We will tell you straight, and occasionally that answer is that you do not need a new website at all.

What it costs

Every project is quoted to fit, but here is where most start. You get a fixed price in writing before any work begins.

Brochure website

From £2,397

A fast, mobile first site with the pages you need, hosting and emails set up, live within 10 days.

Website and SEO growth plan

From £397 a month

The build and the monthly local SEO together. The site makes you credible, the SEO gets you found. Most popular with local service businesses.

Online shops

Quoted

Priced on product count, payment and delivery setup and whether you are migrating from another platform. Ask and we will scope it properly.

Three things move the price: how many pages you need, how much content has to be written from scratch, and whether you want us to look after it afterwards with a care plan from £69 a month.

Questions worth asking any web designer

Including us. If a company will not answer these in writing, that tells you something.

  • Can I see sites you built that are still live? Not mockups or a portfolio of work someone else did.
  • Who actually builds it? Ask whether the person pitching is the person doing the work, or whether it is sent offshore.
  • Who owns the domain, hosting and content? The answer should be you, with no lock in and no ransom when you leave.
  • Is the price fixed? Get the page list and what counts as a revision in writing before you pay a deposit.
  • What happens about SEO and speed? Ask what is included in the build and what is charged separately.
  • What support do I get after launch? Find out what happens in month three when something breaks on a Friday.

We answer all six in the proposal before you commit to anything. Ask for a quote.

Web design questions

The ones that come up on nearly every discovery call.

What do you need from me to start?

A rough idea of what you want the site to do. Logos, photos and existing copy all help, but none of it is essential. If you have nothing, we will guide you through what each page needs and help you put it together.

Do you use templates?

No. Every site is designed for the business it belongs to. We build on WordPress, hand coded HTML or Shopify depending on the project, which keeps it reliable and easy for you to update afterwards.

Is SEO included?

The on page and technical foundations are, as standard. Ongoing SEO, the monthly work of earning rankings and Map Pack visibility, is a separate service, because it is a separate job.

Can you redesign my existing site?

Yes, and a good chunk of our work is exactly that. Every old URL gets redirected to its new home so you keep the search visibility you have already built.

How long does it take?

Smaller builds can be live in as little as 10 days. Most sites take two to four weeks from the signed proposal, and larger builds and online shops take longer. The main variable is content. Projects slow down waiting on words and photos, not on the build.

Do I have to update the site myself?

No. Most clients would rather not touch it, so we handle updates, content changes and new pages for them on a care plan from £69 a month. If you do want to make your own changes, the site is yours and we will set you up with access.

Do you only work with North East businesses?

Most clients are in Newcastle, North Tyneside and the wider North East, but we build for businesses across the UK and further afield. Everything runs on calls and a shared staging link.

Who owns the website when it is done?

You do. The domain, the hosting, the content and the site itself. No lock in contracts and nothing held hostage if you ever decide to move on.

I already have a domain and hosting. Can you use them?

Yes. If your hosting is slow or unreliable we will tell you and explain why, but it stays your decision. If you would rather we took it on, hosting is included in the care plans.

What if I need changes after launch?

Small changes are usually around £30. If you would rather not think about it, a care plan from £69 a month covers hosting, backups, updates, security and your content changes.
