Websites for leisure and hospitality

Pubs, cafés, restaurants, venues, studios and gyms. Most of your customers decide on a phone, often while they are already out, so our websites for hospitality put menus, timetables and booking a thumb away.

20+ years

Building websites for North East businesses.

Phone first

Built for people deciding on the street.

Easy to update

Change menus, events and timetables yourself.

Fixed prices

Agreed in writing before any work starts.

Where websites for hospitality lose customers

Hospitality is decided quickly. These are the small things that send people somewhere else.

The menu is a PDF

Pinching and zooming on a phone is enough to make people give up. Google cannot read most PDF menus either.

Opening hours that disagree

The website says one thing, Google says another and the door says a third. People turn up to a closed door and do not come back.

No obvious way to book

A phone number that rings out at busy times, or a booking link hidden three pages deep.

Old photos or none at all

Customers choose with their eyes. Dark, dated or stock photos lose to the place down the road with real ones.

Every one of our websites for hospitality is built for a quick decision on a small screen.

Booking a thumb away

Table, class or event booking linked from every page, using the system you already have.

Timetables and events

Class timetables, live music, quizzes and special events, kept up to date and easy to change.

Opening hours in one place

The same hours on the website and Google, with seasonal and bank holiday changes handled.

Gift cards and private hire

Pages for the extras that bring in money in quieter months, from vouchers to function rooms.

Leisure websites we have built

Two recent builds for leisure businesses, each with timetables or bookings that had to work perfectly on a phone.

Tynemouth Yoga Collective website built by NE1
A calm, fast loading site for a coastal studio, with class timetables front and centre.
The Diving Centre website built by NE1

Getting found when people are deciding where to go

For hospitality, the map listing is often more important than the website. The two need to work together.

  • Your Google profile first. Photos, menu, hours, booking link and regular posts. More on our Google Business Profile page. Google's own local ranking guidance explains what Google weighs up.
  • Reviews that keep coming. A simple way to ask happy customers, so your reviews stay recent and plentiful.
  • Pages for what people search. Sunday lunch, dog friendly, private hire, kids classes. Pages for the things people actually type.
  • Events that Google can see. Events and offers published on the site and the profile, early enough to be picked up.
  • Seasonal planning. Summer, Christmas and quiet months planned ahead, rather than updated the week before.
  • Social and website working together. Your posts pointing back to a site where people can actually book.

Websites for hospitality: your questions

Can we update the menu ourselves?

Yes. Menus, events and timetables are built so you can change them in minutes, or we can do it for you on a care plan.

Can you link our booking system?

Yes. We link the table, class or event booking system you already use from every page, and make sure it works smoothly on a phone.

Why should our menu not be a PDF?

PDFs are hard to read on a phone, slow to load and mostly invisible to Google. A text menu fixes all three and is easier to update.

We are busiest in summer. When should we start?

Ideally a couple of months before your busy season, so the site and Google profile are settled and ranking before the crowds arrive.

Do we need professional photos?

They make the biggest difference of anything on the site. If a shoot is not possible, we will give you a short list of exactly what to photograph and how, so your own photos look their best.

How much does a hospitality website cost?

Our websites for hospitality start at £2,397, or from £197 a month. The website and SEO plan starts at £397 a month. Everything is agreed in writing first.
